A Convincing Victory

We here at the campaign apologize for the delay in posting about Pete's victory over Tressel's squad at the home opener, but given that the Trojans' feat has been heralded from coast to coast, we're pretty sure you know all about it already. Full capacity Coliseum with 93,607 present. Check. 35-3. Check. Ohio State suffering its worst loss since 1994 and scoring its fewest points in head coach Jim Tressel's eight seasons. Check. USC dismantling what has consistently been called the nation's greatest defense. Check. Rey Maluga showing why he will with the Butkus award this season with a 48-yard interception return. Check. Even Governor Schwarzenegger took in the debate from the sidelines.

On the Trojans' 12th scoring drive, Damian Williams became the first Trojan to score twice this season. Yes, you read that right. The first 11 Trojan touchdowns this season were scored by 11 different players. You can see why the Buckeye defense had trouble. (photo source)
